Company founder Laura Eastwood is no stranger to the international social circles that create and celebrate the arts in all their forms and the businesses that unite them.  As a child in San Francisco, Laura began her introduction to the arts via the worlds of fashion and music through the involvements of her mother and elder siblings with legends like Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana Jerry Garcia, James Gallano, Bill Blass, Harry Winston, Nicola Bulgari and Valentino, who represent just a sampling of her family’s close associations.
Educated in both Spain and Switzerland, Laura began her own career in fashion while still in school.  At the age of 15, she designed her first collection of sterling silver jewelry for distribution in Spain, Shortly after, she moved to New York City to study fashion design at Parson’s School of Design.  Surrounded by New York’s dynamic arts scene, she developed close friendships and working relationships with cutting edge figures like designer Stephen Sprouse, who was charting a new path and a new look in fashion.
As a highly visible member of this society, Laura quickly attracted the attention of many who shaped the tastes of the time.  She found herself pursued by the leading modeling agencies that quickly sensed her talent’s fluid style and encouraged her interpretations of emerging fashion and imagery.  Laura moved from Manhattan to Milan where she began a rapidly ascending modeling career that made her a favorite of leading designers and photographers.  Her modeling career reached its height in Paris where she was soon considered one of the two or three most sophisticated and sought after models in Europe.  Laura became the face of Yves Saint Laurent beauty products, YSL Cigarettes and the YSL fashion campaigns.  A favorite of renowned photographer Helmut Newton, she also presented the work of a multitude of the world’s most respected designers: Chanel, Loris Azzaro, Trussardi, Pierre Cardin, Missoni, Callaghan, Franco Moschino, Pierre Balmain, Balenciaga, Loewe, Guy Laroche, Vivian Westwood, and others.  She was the face of beauty campaigns for Helena Rubenstein, Avon, Galenic, Guerlain and Bourgeois.  At the same time that her modeling career was flourishing, Laura was signed as a singer by EMI Records who released two of her recordings “I Love Champagne” and “Go-No Go.”
In the early 90s, Laura spent more time in New York and Los Angeles.  After giving birth to her daughter in 1994, she began managing the career of celebrated jazz bassist and then husband Kyle Eastwood, signing him with Sony Records and art directing his CD “From There to Here.”
In 2002, Laura moved her family to Paris where, parallel with producing “Paris Blue” and  managing concert bookings for the Kyle Eastwood Jazz Band, she continued her career in fashion with freelance writing for major fashion magazines.  During this time, she began work as a screenwriter and further developed her artistic studies at the School of Arts Decoratifs du Louvre in Paris.

In 2006, Ms. Eastwood created “Artistic Transactions”, a concept, branding and image consulting company.  Artistic Transactions combines her many talents and her unique worldwide network of relationships in finance and the arts, allowing her to assist individuals and companies to realize their ambitions and create value in their brand by maximizing their conceptual potential, visual presence and global connections.  Artistic Transactions is now based in New York City and consults for clients worldwide.
